Refund policy

  • We have a 14-day return policy, which means you have 14 days after receiving your item to request a return.
  • To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

Damages and issues

Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

Courier

  • If the reason for refund/return is due to an error on our side, we will cover courier costs and arrange a date with you for collection of the returned items.
  • If the reason for refund/return is due to an error on your side, you will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. To return your product, you should deliver or courier your product to Hygrotech Head Office: 1 Gerard Braak St, Pyramid, Gauteng, 0120, South Africa. If you are shipping an item over R300, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
  • Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.
  • Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you may vary.

Exceptions / non-returnable items

  • Orders not processed through the online store.
  • Custom orders are exempt from being returned.
  • Orders delivered outside of South Africa are exempt from being returned.
  • If 14 days have passed since an item was delivered, we can’t accept a return.
  • Sale items are not returnable / refundable.
  • Any item returned that is not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error.

Coupon Codes

  • Discount code is only valid for orders placed online.
  • Discount code is not valid in conjunction with any other voucher code or offer, unless otherwise stated.
  • Promotion codes entitle you, at the time of ordering, to a saving on a new order placed via the website.
  • We reserve the right to decline orders where, in its opinion, a promotion code is invalid.
  • Promotion codes are only valid while stocks last and may be withdrawn at any time.
  • In the event of product returns, refunds will be given for the value of the original purchase, i.e.: With applied discount. Not at the RRP of the item.
  • In the event of part of the order being returned, the monetary value returned will be the value of the item/s at the time of the transaction, ie: with discount applied. The promotional discount will not be applied to replacement items. If the offer is still valid at the time of making a return you should place a new order using the original promotional code.
  • We reserve the right to change these Terms and Conditions at any time.

Refunds

  • We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not.
  • If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. 
  • Alternatively we can issue you with a credit for future use on our online store. 
  • All refund amounts are subject to a 3% deduction, used by the payment processing provider for service fees.
  • Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
